It has an unmistakable aroma and taste; smooth and exquisite.
It is a buttery cheese, with a semi-soft, white or slightly yellowish, uniform paste.

Origin: Product with Protected Designation of Origin, 100% Portugal.

Ingredients: Raw milk from Serra da Estrela sheep, sea salt and thistle flower.

Cure type: Minimum curing period of 30 days, for semi-soft paste.
