1 – Conditions of Sale

1.1 Placing the Order on the Website’s online store To make a purchase through the Website’s online store, the User must register as a customer. Once registered, the User can place an order by selecting the desired products. You must follow all the steps described in it for the order to be successfully completed. The validation of the purchase order presupposes that the User has become aware of and accepts the general conditions for contracting and using the Site. The data recorded on the Site constitute proof of the set of transactions carried out between Madre de Água LDA and the User/Customer. Madre de Água LDA reserves the right to change any description, image or other information in the online store catalog without prior notice. 1.2. Product Availability Items for sale on the Site’s online store are subject to existing stock at the time of order processing and orders will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of a temporary or permanent out of stock, the User will be duly notified, and an alternative of products with similar characteristics will be suggested. In case of replacement, the invoice price will be that of the replacement product and not the originally ordered price. 1.3. prices The prices of the products are indicated in € (Euros) and include VAT at the legal rate in force. All prices available in the store can be changed without prior notice and are always subject to out of stock. The prices and promotions carried out in the sale through the website’s online store may not be applied in the physical store of Quinta Madre de Água. All products are shipped within 48 hours, unless they are not in stock. When purchasing the products, if they circulate outside mainland Portugal, the customer is responsible for customs clearance (associated costs) or even if they are not delivered or arrive at their destination due to country restrictions (export). In international shipments, it is necessary to know the laws in the country of destination, regarding licenses and customs fees, among others. And to add to this: from time to time, the laws are changed. 1.4. Shipping Charges The cost of shipping is calculated according to the type of service, weight of the products, destination and the total value of the order. This value is indicated in the shopping cart before the final validation of the order. In the case of purchases of €50 or more, shipping to Portugal is free. 1.5. Payment method The Website’s online store provides the User with the following payment methods: Multibanco, Payshop and MBway. 1.6. Delivery Orders will only be sent after confirmation of stock and confirmation of receipt of payment, committing ourselves from that moment on to deliver the items ordered as soon as possible. We have the carrier DPD Portugal as a partner to ensure our national and international parcel delivery service. The delivery of orders will be made to the address indicated by the User/customer and according to the delivery times of the carrier DPD Portugal. All orders shipped must be examined by the Customer upon receipt. If any irregularity or damage is detected in the order, YOU MUST ONLY RECEIVE/ACCEPT IT IF you leave this indication of the anomaly detected on the carrier’s waybill when signing it. By accepting the order without any type of inclusion in the signature field, you assume to the carrier that the order was delivered in the proper conditions.

2 – Satisfaction/Exchange Policy

Madre de Água LDA is very concerned about the quality of its products and services. However, in case the customer is not satisfied with a certain item, he can always decide to exchange it at the time of delivery of the order. To do so, you must send the respective item(s) within 15 days of receipt, in person at the physical store or by mail/carrier, informing Madre de Água LDA of your intention, through the email geral@quintamadredeagua.pt, with the costs of return and reshipment regarding the exchange being borne by the customer. We do not issue refunds in cash or in any other form other than the voucher. The following are not accepted for the purposes of exchange or issuance of vouchers: articles that show any sign of use/use; items damaged by the consumer or that the consumer has removed original labels; food or other perishable products, due to their nature.
